Industry Advisory Group
The members of the School of Computing and Information Systems’ Industry Advisory Group provide valuable insights on the School’s strategic planning, teaching, research and engagement programs.
Each member acts as a proxy for the external stakeholders in their field of expertise. They have been selected to cover a wide range of industry sectors (including both private and public organisations), expertise, roles and responsibilities.
The Industry Advisory Group meets several times throughout the year with the goal of on increasing industry involvement with the School’s activities, including input into:
- The curriculum
- Presentation of guest lectures
- Real-world case studies
- Industry-based projects
- Site visits
- Preparation for employment
Members are also invited to attend relevant School activites, such as the Endeavour Exhibition & Awards, or briefings for the new Melbourne Connect.
