Biography

Benjamin is an early career researcher who completed his Ph.D. at the Graduate School of Media Design at KEIO University in Japan, in March 2019. He is currently a Research Fellow at the School of Computing and Information Systems.
His research interest is located in the fields of Ubiquitous Computing and Cognition-Aware Systems. He is investigating ways to understand human cognition by combining methods from the fields of cognitive psychology and pervasive computing. Specifically, he is interested in using ubiquitous technologies to augment the process of information consumption and knowledge acquisition. His recent research focuses on Cognitive Biases and the application of digital nudges to improve media literacy among technology users.
