Biography

Winn Chow is an Associate Lecturer in the School of Computing and Information Systems at The University of Melbourne. He was previously an Assistant Director (Programme Development and Management) in Lingnan Institute of Further Education at Lingnan University in Hong Kong. He is an experienced project manager and software engineer, with more than fifteen years of working experience in software development, data analysis, and project management at Lingnan University, Plant Werx HK, Orelix Ltd and Catapult Communications (a US-listed company). He was the recipient of Outstanding Teacher Award of 2012 by The Community College at Lingnan University. Professionally, he is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and an Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 8 Programmer. He holds Doctor of Business Administration from The University of Newcastle, Master of Business Administration from The University of New South Wales, Master of Science from California Institute of Technology, Postgraduate Diploma of Professional Accounting from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Bachelor of Engineering with first class honour and Bachelor of Science from The University of Melbourne. His interest is in software development and data science.
