CIS Student Hub
Welcome to the CIS Student Hub!
Located on Level 3 of Melbourne Connect, the CIS Student Hub is a dedicated space for incoming Computing and Information Systems students seeking information and support as they adjust to the university experience.
Our purpose is to provide a welcoming environment for students to get acclimated to university life and receive the guidance they need to succeed in their CIS studies.
We invite all first-semester undergraduate and postgraduate students to the Student Hub. The Hub provides:
- Subject-specific support: Specialized guidance for your coursework. For specific staffed session and subject schedules, please visit the Academic Support tab.
- Connection with peers and staff.
- A space to navigate your new university experience, collaborate with your peers, work on assignments, and be part of our learning community.
- A space for shared experiences from industry and research experts. Check out the Events tab for more details.
The Hub is open between 10:00 - 17:00 each day for use as a study space.
Subject-Specific Academic Support
We run subject-specific academic support sessions throughout the semester from Week 2. These are drop-in sessions, so no appointment is necessary!
